Munchies started in November 2024 as a corner inside someone else's shop on Trubarjeva. In August 2025 we got on a plane and tasted the matcha at the growers before putting it on the menu. Today there are two cafés, four minutes apart.
The same matcha we whisk at the counter now goes into a pouch. A cup costs €3.50 at our café. At home €1.16 — with a subscription €0.93.

Does matcha lower cortisol?
We don't claim that. Matcha contains caffeine and L-theanine, but the EU hasn't approved any health claim for green tea in that direction — so we won't use one either. What we can promise: taste, preparation, origin and price per cup.
So why would it help me?
Because it replaces the third coffee with something you have to prepare and drink sitting down. Whether that's enough for you, you'll know within a week — a pouch lasts 25 cups.
How much caffeine does it have?
We don't yet have the exact value confirmed from the supplier's specification, so we won't guess. Once we have it, we'll publish it here.
How many cups do I get from a pouch?
25 at 2 g per cup. That's €1.16 per cup, or €0.93 with a monthly subscription.
